Second Trailer analysis: House of Wax

Even though we were suppose to analyse a teaser trailer, I chose to analyse a trailer for the film House of Wax (2005). This is because this trailer consists of good shots which would be very effective for our genre (horror) to induce fear into our target audience and set the scene.

Filming Practice

These are some practice shots of possible camera techniques we can use for our film teaser. We did this exercise so we could have some experience in the techniques we haven't used before i.e. Dolly zoom. It also helped us determine which camera techniques we would like to use within our budget and equipment or even if it would fit in our genre perfectly.
